Broiled Country Ham Steak

Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon Dijon Mustard
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup pear, apple, or peach jam
- 1 smoked ham steak, about 1-inch thick
Instructions
Whisk the mustard, vinegar, and jam until completely blended.Preheat the broiler.
Bring the ham to room temperature. Make several 1-inch cuts around the perimeter of the ham steak. Brush the steak on both sides with the glaze, and place on a pan about 3 inches below the heat element. Broil ham for 5 minutes on the first side. Remove, turn it over, brush the second side with additional glaze, and broil for 3 more minutes, or until heated through. Remove the steak from the oven, top with the remaining glaze, and serve.
