Simple Spinach Strawberry Walnut Salad

Ingredients
- 1 large bunch fresh spinach, rinsed, torn into pieces and stems removed
- 1/2 1 quart strawberries, trimmed and quartered
- 1/2 cup walnuts, toasted and coarsley chopped over slivered almonds, or toasted pecans
- 1/4 large large red onion, thinly sliced
- Balsamic vinaigrette or favorite dressing
Instructions
Toss all ingredients together into a large bowl. Add desired amount of dressing and mix well.
Variations: Consider adding any or all of the following: 1/2 cup diced mango, 1 diced avocado, bell peppers, chopped (1/2-1 cup). You can also add grilled chicken.
Note: You can make a simple vinaigrette with olive oil, balsamic vinegar and a teaspoon of honey.
