1857 Spirits is part of the sixth generation Barber Farm that has been growing potatoes in the heart of the Schoharie Valley since 1857. Beginning in 2015, the Barber Farm has been turning their homegrown potatoes - and their own spring water - into small batch, handcrafted vodka. The Classic is an award-winning vodka with a slightly sweet vanilla-pear finish. This is a beautiful sipping vodka that’s best served over ice.
The Signature is a take on “Old World” style potato vodka. It is stronger in style, with a bolder vanilla-pear flavor finishing with a buttery note.
The Barreled takes 1857’s award-winning Classic vodka and barrels it to create a vodka that has notes of smoky oak and finishes with a hint of clove and leather. This is the perfect alternative for someone who likes the taste of a whiskey but needs to be gluten free.
