1857 Spirits Barber's Farm distillery

Just to give you a little back ground history about the Farm and the Distillery, beginning in 1857, six generations of the Barber family have farmed in the heart of the Schoharie Valley. Barber’s Farm Distillery started producing our exceptional vodka in 2015. The Distillery produces vodka using only potatoes grown on our family farm and water from our own spring to create a true “Estate” product. We are proud to be a Hand-Crafted New York State Distiller and part of The Taste of New York.
We are producing 3 different vodkas, each distinctive in their own way:
The Classic is award winning with a clean, crisp, smooth potato vodka with a soft sweet vanilla-pear finish. When put on ice it opens up just like a good whiskey and becomes sweeter. A beautiful sipping vodka.
The second is what we call our Signature. It is our interpretation of an “Old World” style potato vodka. It is stronger in style, bolder vanilla-pear flavor finishing with a buttery note. Once again with a wonderful sweet finish that lingers in your mouth.
Our third is a Barrel Finished potato vodka. We barrel our award-winning Classic Potato Vodka to create a vodka that has notes of smoky oak of the barrel and finishes with a hint of clove and leather, yet still as smooth as our award-winning vodka. The perfect alternative for someone who likes the taste of a whiskey but needs to be Gluten Free.
