Caradonna Farms
Marlboro, NYFarming
Caradonna Farms is a fourth-generation family grower of fruit and vegetables that produces stone fruit, apples, berries and vegetables on 200 acres. Owner and farmer Skye Caradonna loves to experiment and follows agricultural developments around the world to learn about new varietals and better ways of growing fruit.
The farm cultivates a diversity of fruit including strawberries, cherries, peaches, plums, nectarines, apricots, melons and grapes. They currently produce 38 varieties of apples, many of them unusual. Skye grows several kinds of peaches to have them readily available by July and throughout early fall. The different fruits mature at different times and can handle different temperatures but also offer different sweetness, texture and flavor profiles.
