HarlemHoneyNYC keeps honeybee hives on a rooftop in Harlem, NYC to produce pure, raw honey from the flowering trees, shrubs and gardens that grow in the city. Beekeeper Tim had over 10 years of experience in rural beekeeping before moving to New York City in 2017. Of course, he brought a few hives with him when he moved. Even in the city, the bees find a wide variety of flowers to visit and the honey is naturally colored dark or light depending on which seasonal flowers the bees are collecting from. HarlemHoneyNYC produces a limited number of candles made entirely of wax from their hives and once in a while will also have honeybee-themed crafts.
