Founded in Brooklyn by naturopath, Dr. Maria Geyman ND, Masha Tea brings the healing and regenerative powers of natural teas to discerning drinkers. They are designed with flavor, sustainability and beauty in mind, and are assembled by hand in small batches and made with love.
Masha Tea specializes in herbal teas made from herbs grown in the Northeastern US, Japanese green tea and matcha, and North Indian black tea. Based in Greenpoint, Masha Teas are included in the tea program at the Noguchi Museum and New York based cafes and restaurants.
In sourcing the teas and herbs, they consider terroir, ethical farming practices, and traditional herbalism. Each bag is compostable (remove the sticker in the back and the tin tie and then compost the bags after use) and hand-stamped with vegetable ink with stamps made in the East Village.
