Herb-Apple Cider

https://squarerootsgrow.com
Serves: 6 – 8
Course: Beverages
Diet: Vegan
Season(s): Fall, Winter
Ingredients
- 1 liter apple cider
- 2 ounces fresh basil and/or fresh mint
- cinnamon sticks (optional)
- lemon or orange wedges
Instructions
Warm the apple cider in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the fresh herbs to the pan (no need to take them off the stem) and reduce the heat to the lowest setting to allow the flavor of the herbs to infuse the cider, while not letting it boil. Strain the cider through a sieve into mugs. Garnish each much with a cinnamon stick (if using) and a citrus wedge before serving.
